Only4health

At Only4health we have it sussed. The easiest way to remain healthy, improve absenteeism, reduce stress & have more energy is not hard, but 3 factors are critical.

  • Cleanse your body by removing toxins of heavy metal minerals.
  • Ensure vitamin D3 blood serum levels are high
  • Use Enzogenol ntioxidants to neutralise FR's in the body & brain allowing your body repair defects.
Firstly the Vitamin D3 Conundrum.

Here in NZ & Australia there is an understanding that Vitamin D blood serum levels under about 25nmol/L are deficient, but this should read wickedly deficient, & there is uncertainty over levels between 25 and 50nmol/L. When converted to the US measurements, a 50nmol/L = 20ng/ml = is grossly deficient. We are very exposed to so many diseases & sicknesses at these very low levels.
Supplementation to levels above 125nmol/L is now proven as safe & allows amazing health benefits to manifest. 75% of Australians are at 30ng/ml, that’s very poor as well. The older NZ’ers & Australians get, the worse the levels are, again very poor considering this is when we really need it.
The Vitamin D Council strives for 50ng/ml (125nmol/L).

Vitamin D Status of New Zealand Adults

Findings from the 2008/09 New Zealand Adult Nutrition Survey
It recommends blood serum levels equal to or above the recommended level (serum 25-OHD  levels of 50.0+ nmol/L) = 20nl/mg

Recent evidence demonstrates drastic statistical errors made during the calculation of the Recommended Daily Allowance (RDA) for vitamin D. We highlight how, based on this report that is so flawed, 1000’s of NZ’ers (millions maybe) think they are protected from a vitamin D deficiency. Since 2008, vitamin D research has shown the following benefits can happen when blood serum levels are at the considered the norm.

Vitamin D takes charge throughout the Body

Vitamin D is a fat-soluble vitamin, & it plays a critical role throughout your entire body. It naturally supports your:

  • Immune system
  • Muscles & nerve health
  • Cell growth
  • Mood & feelings of well-being
  • Weight management
  • Sexual health
  • Sleep patterns
  • Reproductive functioning
  • Heart health

When looked at closely the worst aspect of this survey was “the majority of New Zealand adults (68.1%) had good levels of vitamin D”. Nearly 70% of NZ think they are safe, but truly no one can be sure until the base line is raised to the Vitamin D Councils scientific serum levels. It would seem amazing if  our levels were so much better than US citizens, especially when the hole in our ozone layer tends to make our sun more severe. Unfortunately, up to 75% of adults in the United States are actually and tragically vitamin D “insufficient.”

According to the Vitamin D Council this blood serum level should be 50ng/ml & the smartest medical research group Grassroots on the planet says, to prevent Breast cancer serum levels should be 60ng/ml. The GrassrootsHealth Scientists Panel of 41 expert vitamin D researchers and medical practitioners maintain their position based on the evidence that they see that the serum level should be between 40-60 ng/ml (100-150 nmol/L). Imagine 600 women die in NZ of breast cancer each year because of this flawed report. http://www.grassrootshealth.net/press-20110805  "75% of breast cancer could be prevented with higher vitamin D serum levels" says Dr. Cedric F. Garland of the Moores Cancer Center and UCSD School of Medicine.

“This will potentially be the most important study ever conducted toward prevention of breast cancer”.

Grassroots health have also categorised in the chart below, where vitamin D3 levels prevent disease.

We have an independent study: Vitamin D – ideal levels, and how much we should take?

Vitamin D is increasingly being recognised as an incredibly important nutrient (actually a pro-hormone) having multiple health benefits. It is also becoming widely obvious that most, if not all people have less than ideal blood levels of vitamin D3 or are outright deficient. http://paleozonenutrition.com/2010/07/28/vitamin-d-ideal-levels-and-how-to-know-if-you-are-taking-the-right-amount/

Please read what Pure North S’Energy Foundation, Canada’s largest primary prevention-focused not-for-profit health organization. http://www.purenorth.ca/?page_id=1356 Importantly, they also advise the amount of vitamin D required for overweight and obese individuals is 2-3 times the amount needed by a normal weight individual.

And the uncertain talk about vitamin D being toxic. This is an amazing story:
In 2012 I decided to do a toxicity study on myself to help answer a few questions.
I started taking 100,000 IU/day in June of 2012.
I measured my 25(OH)D and Urine CA/Cr ratio every week.
The 25(OH)D was run by two different methods.
Towards the end I also had a 1,25 and 24,25 run.
My 25(OH)D slowly increased to 300 ng/ml by LCMS at about 4 months.
My serum and urine calcium and urine CA/CR ratio remained normal.
I wanted to see if sun exposure would affect 25(OH)D so I started sunbathing an hour every day for 2 weeks.
My 25(OH)D levels decreased to 250 ng/ml despite the fact I was still taking 100,000 IU/day.

It seemed to indicate that sun exposure will help reduce elevated 25(OH)D levels.
By six months my 25(OH)D level was 350 ng/ml but my serum CA, 24 hour urine calcium and CA/CR ratios remained normal. However, I started having anorexia and nausea (some symptoms of D intoxication) when I got to 350 ng/ml so I stopped the vitamin D.

It took about 6 months for my 25(OH)D to get under 100 ng/ml.
The anorexia and nausea went away in about a month.
The different methods of measuring 25(OH)D showed about a 25% variance on some measurements.
My 1,25 never went above normal but my 24,25 level was elevated the last 3 months.
It is assumed that toxicity is a side effect of hypercalcemia.
I guess the anorexia and nausea may have been psychosomatic as I got very nervous when my 25(OH)D got above 200 ng/ml. This was from, John J Cannell, MD, Vitamin D Council Inc. If you don’t know, he got up to 750nmol/L.

As  Pure North S’Energy Foundation says A mistake was made; the RDA for vitamin D should be 10-15 times higher than it is. Health care costs are spiralling out of control –  we can save billions”
